Plus One Fitness Studio is the creation of Personal Trainer and Mum of 3, Justine Kucic.
Founder and Head Trainer, Justine has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years.
Justine's qualifications allow her to train women at all stages of life.

A Word from Justine
Being in the fitness industry for over 20 years I have always had a passion for being fit and healthy. I really enjoy teaching, training and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
Plus One Fitness was started so that I could share my personal experiences and enable mums, and mums to be, an opportunity to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle during an ever changing time in their lives.
During my first pregnancy and after giving birth I was unfortunate to suffer severe Pubic Symphasis Dysfunction and pelvic instability. I was very naive to assume that being fit, healthy and strong would solely prevent such injuries. 12 months after giving birth I returned to teaching classes but was still in great pain and my pelvic floor muscles were very weak.
After working closely with a great women’s health physiotherapist I discovered that many of the exercises I was performing were not helping my pelvic problems, preventing my deep core muscles from working effectivley and were worsening my pelvic floor weakness. Through regular treatment and the right exercises I was able to see improvements, get back to enjoying a fit and active lifestyle and go on to experience successive pregnancies mostly pain free.
The journey still continues today ensuring safe exercises and correct technique are maintained to ensure a healthy pelvic floor ,prevent further pelvic discomfort/dysfunction and to continue to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles as it is not something you can just fix and forget.
These experiences have fuelled my passion to create a women's fitness studio that focuses on the personal challenges women face during pregnancy, being a mum and in the later years experiencing menopause.
